Riffin' at the Roosevelt - Free Download

Home CD information Concert appearances Educational Materials Pictures Biography

Riffin' at the Roosevelt is a piece I wrote to serve as an example for arranging techniques for 3-horn jazz ensembles. It was part of my presentation at the 2011 Jazz Education Network conference at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans, and it is based on the chord changes for the tune "There Is No Greater Love,"

It is a chart for 3 horns and rhythm section with lots of options for which instruments play the 3 horn parts. I have made this chart available for free downloading by school band directors. Free to print these parts for your school band. Please drop me an Email to let me know if you use it the chart - I'd like to hear from you!
